This research project topic title is talking about the benefits of traveling consideration of everyone has what kind of attitude on travel.And which way is the best for people.For example self-guided tour or guided or which are the best way to suitable for what kind of human being.That is to say. It is not only to talk about the benefits of traveling but also to research about tourism and existent problems in the travel. 

 

On the one hand,in whole research I will propose 3 questions and 3 hypotheses.And have some personal idea and find some useful theoretical use in literature review writing.On the another hand,the research methodology of the situation and doable developing tactic is also been writing with evidence.Each in chapter 3 to 5.However,through this research,will have much consequence from my survey.The benefits of this research are purposing to guide a to tourism and individuals to awareness tourism markets. And also those information can be used in society.

 

Chapter1

 

1.1Introduction

 

“travel”everybody knows this word which many people have a different definition.Some people believe that it is going to another place play with family or friends in their leisure time, like a holiday.On the other hand,journey is a way to touch and learning process from other culture or life style.Therefore in this chapter1, I will propose my question and objectives to begin my survey my project.And also, making a plan which supports my time and money how to spend.

 

However, In this part, I will accord to every aspect which is health, learning, human background, age, gender etc. because different people have different views on this topic.So, from this information I will to introduce my research topic “Benefit from a journey”.

 

 

 

 

 

 

1.2Background

 

Currently, human being has different kind of stress in their life.Such as money, education, social communication, family and friends. Travel may  be a best way to relax and learning some new things. Moreover, different people take different feeling goes to travel that will have different results.

Traveling gives us chance to disengage our normal life and be better coming back to study or work. That just says when you always focus on work and study.Actually, the time is almost fast and you will have no time to cogitating life.Therefore, travel is a best event to think of yourself and family and your life.

 

Traveling make our relaxation. When you have stress in your life.Traveling like a battery, to top-up yourself.

Traveling broaden our horizons and learning new things.When you go to another country or places which has different custom.Discovering another value and events to get by in life is wonderful and interesting experiences.

Traveling can increase our different area skills.When you got any skill from your traveling experience that you would never encounter at home. Those skills can help you in the future and would be a wonderful experience.

when you go traveling with you friends and family.That would be an unforgettable memory in your mind. According to those points of views that this topic would be a weightily meaningful research.

Those points are basic on individual feeling.

In addition, there are signification points of tourism to the environment,marketing and economics.Those areas would be a different aspect to explanation of the benefits of travel.

Question2: What will have a more positive influence when a person who always goes to travel.

Question3: In recent years, Why many human beings would like to save money to go to travel rather than spend on others stuffs.

Methodology: Research questions and objectives will according to questionnaire and material research from books ,magazines ,newspaper and websites.

H1: self-guided tour is wide choice and has many benefits that they like.

H2: There are focussed on different aspect of benefits on travel.

H3: If a person who never got to travel to compare with a person who usually goes to travel.They will have what kind of difference?

Chapter2.Literature Review

 

2.0 Introduction

 

In this part, as part one mentioned proposition of threes questions which would be evidenced by the literature review.Research on benefits of traveling is not only focussed leisure of individual feeling but also look on tourism.Such as bring benefits to the environment, marketing, economic and social effect.

“Great interest was expressed in the potential of tourism to contribute to economic development. Tourism was widely acclaimed as generating a multitude of beneficial effects upon such economic indicators as balance of payments, income, employment and tax revenues.”(Wall and Mathieson,2006)

 

 

 

Relationships between travel(entertainment)and tourism.

 

According to Lawson and Baud-Bovy (1977:4)leisure is of four types(Wall and Mathieson 2006):

1.Daily recreation facilities in dose proximity to one’s home or place of work and four short periods during the day.

2.One-day recreation encompasses excursion to the fringes of urban areas or further into the countryside but within easy reach of home. No over-night stay is a need.

3.Weekends and short holidays may be expended with some frequency relatively close to one’s residence in second homes or other temporary accommodation.

4.Long holidays involve fewer distance constraints and may be done in one’s won country or abroad.

 

On this point of view, people who would be covered in many types of “long journey”and weekends and “short holiday” to assortment for traveling.

“Tourism, on its modern scale, is a relatively new use of leisure.Marked and rapid changes in  technology and in social,political and economic systems have enabled people to pursue new and different forms of recreation and have magnified the important of tourism is an evolutionary development in the use of leisure and represents an expanded opportunity for the exercise of choice in the selection of recreational activities”.(Wall and Mathieson 2006)

“Tourism evaluation is their influence on economic, environmental and social environment.”(Wall and Mathieson 2006)

 

What will have more positive influence when a person who always go to travel.

 

In this questions,there are from varies aspects to discussion it.

Individual experience and feeling:

“Sometime you may think you had and work on the wrong occupation or having trouble or unsatisfied in your love life.Probably, you are hard working on your goals or do not have goals in your life. You are meeting different kind of problems that need to change. Probably you need to go travel!” (Kendle,2014)when we talking about a person who many about the purpose of traveling.A person who has experience on a long journey. She told us. She has been to many places to visit.When you started a long journey which will meet any problems.Something,those problems will take more negative thing in your lifetime.That would be a work of cumulation experience.Moreover, attitude is the most important way to solve those problems.Our attitude influences our travels.If we find the right things, we can see the advantage in just about purposes we can access.(Earl,2013)

One of the highest and speediest global service industries is tourism.

 

Being the chart is about travel and tourism to world GDP.During 2004 to 2014, the travel industry is influence all of the global economy increase in $6,990 billion.The growth in travel outlay was pushed forward changing lifestyles and higher disposable incomes.Therefore, when you go to travel that will take the economy to the country and making strong the tourism.That would be a major income to a country finical. 

 

 

 

In recent years,many people would like to saving money to go travel rather than do other things which buy a house ,this phenomenon is positive or negative.

 

Currently, a growing number of people resign the job in order to round a world.They will show that in the internet or writing a book.Why would those people can make the decision for travel? And also many people do not use the money to buy cars or houses instead to go travel.This thing will be more and more popular in social.They would say “Travel Will Change Your Life For The Better”.(Kepnes,2014)Travel makes your life-changing.It makes clearly who is your centrality. When you own the road, have not any baggage, you will confrontation life on the road that is not always appear on working all the time.That is to say, when you meet problems on the road which improves you solve the problems ability.And different get different skills.(Kepnes,2014)

When you started a trip, communication with strangers is a basic skilled on the road.So, you will learn about how to make new friends and communication with people.If you a person who talking with strangers feels uncomfortable.Travel will teach you how to comfortable to talk with other people.

*You winnings confidence

When you got many things done the way such as, Hiked Mt.Dived the Great Barrier Reef.Like this which will not do in your normal time. When you after accomplishing so much, you will feel more and more confident in your skills in areas to achieve anything.

*It will make impossible on employable

On the way, you are going to meet different kind of people who can help you know about you will not familiar with areas when you taking with each others. And also, will get many skills on the travel.Those experiences can make you find a satisfied occupations and bonus point your career life.

 

Travel is going to teach you know about the world, how to disadvantage and unknown situations, also can be yourself more independent, learn in accordance with its natural tendency.Moreover, make you be better than before.

Chapter3.Research Methodology

 

3.0 Introduction

 

In this chapter, research methodologies is a significant point to focus on.That would be to support my whole research.And also too evident it.According to my chapter1of 3questions which survey of different area people view.Therefor,making questionnaire is a best way to research.And also take another research strategies and methods achieving the research. Addition to, each section will describe the whole results by data collection.And also connecting of primary and secondary research.

 

3.1 Primary secondary research

 

Primary research

Through research objective of traveling that is important to focus on a different kind of individuals who different nationality, gender, age, and income to obtain their point of views on traveling.That is primary research.Next step is interviewing each people who have different types.For example, different nationality, age and occupation.I will get feedback when those people who are asked subjective questions.It answers will cover questions about my topic “benefits of traveling”.As result, which information from questionnaires and interviews is to be analyzed and compared.However, primary research has many positions and negatives. Interview almost as much time on that.And analyzed the data will spend a lot of time.Besides, questionnaire would be a best way to survey the target.And easy to obtain data and information.

 

Questionnaires

Following my topic, It is focusing on the different country, different age and different occupation for making of three kind of samples.I will make a questionnaire which prepares different types questions.Like close question, dichotomous questions and scaled response questions in the questionnaire.There have been two way to give target person which is printing out to give them writing or send e-mail for them. Questionnaire is used google questionnaire.

 

 

 

Secondary research

Secondary research is writings and report from the books, magazine, articles and internet. In this research, the benefits are according to a point of view of a professional person in the research areas.That is not difficult to find it and also is free or lower cost than primary research.Such as, those information from library or internet researching which huge information can be covered in your research.Secondary research is making sure my research uses correct way.Because, those information from the article can evidence my whole report.

 

3.2 Qualitative &Quantitative research

 

Qualitative and quantitative research are foundations on questionnaire. Both of them collect people view.And covering the topic of “benefits of traveling”. Quantitative used to ration the problem to analyzing people’s answers.This data can be utilized in statistics to evidence topic.Such as how often do you go to travel? That is quantitative

Research. Qualitative is focused on individual answers.That is to say. Open questions are the best way to gain some useful informations. So around people for interview will gain information from them and collect people’s views to analyze as qualitative research methods.

 

3.3 Sampling framework

 

This research target is travel which different type individuals are important sample research.Research for 20 people answers to my questionnaire. They will have different gender, educational background, nationality.Firstly, classmate and teacher are the main sample to research. In these areas, they will always focus on what kind of thing in travel.This information will take such result clearly and exactly.

 

3.4 Ethics & Bias

 

In this part, ethics knowledges can help my research more effective to finish. Because, this will help my topic which kind of areas cannot touch.That is to say that will consider about a sensitive topic and private topic should be evaded. Such as the problem of religious belief and personal details.Especially, in questionnaire and interview.And the last point is using Harvard referencing in a suitable format when I consult author materials.

 

3.5 Limitations

 

Firstly, time is a main part of limitation, just have 7weeks to complete the whole research project.I must be step by step to work on the time.Secondly, literature review is the most difficult part for me. Because, in internet or library where have a lot of books and article mentioned about my topic.If I intend to find a suitable book or article for my research that will use a long time to read it.The time is very short.Thirdly, questionnaire investigation and collection the answers are needed to spend a lot of time.After that, the qualitative and quantitative of secondary would be analysed from books and authors.This will use much time to focus on.The primary research would include from different areas target of human being.For example, different gender, nationalities, occupations.Attempting to cover all different groups of people. Time using is virtually a primary problem.Therefore, time use is a significant limitation of this research.

 

3.6 Conclusion

 

In this chapter, I written about research methodology which are questionnaire. Interview, analyze collection statistics, qualitative and quantitative research.This is significant to the process of research.This can support my project of research.For example,the objective of this research is analyses traveling influence to people behavior and life and benefits of traveling which display in quantitative and qualitative research.So, those information from chapter3 is an evidence to support whole research.

 

 

 

 

Chapter4 Results

 

4.0 Introduction

 

In this part, I received from 20 people’s questionnaires.Those informations on questionnaires which talking about the benefits of traveling and problems.The questions on the questionnaire are very pertinence in travel.And also, those answers can reflect on 3 questions and 3 hypotheses and have good results.This report used the primary research by questionnaires and secondary research for supporting the results. Following about 5 different style analysis would be better to support my whole research.

 

*Self-guided tour and guided tour which one do you prefer?

*Do you have a habit which is saving money for travel and analysis people will save how much many in traveling?

*Do you think an organization should have to travel time with colleagues once or twice years?

*Which part do you consider important in travel?

*Which style traveling you will be attracted?

 

4.1 Results

 

Questionnaire responses in the reaction is the evidence from the case study analysis of secondary data and support.

In the questionnaires, this project has been researched in 20 people; there are females of 10 people and males of 10 people.So, the result of gender is 50/50 percentages each.Nevertheless,this research will partition of quote sample which is individuals who prefer to travel or not.Looking at Figure 1 and Figure 2 ,there are 8 women want to go travel and 2 women dislike.However, have 9 people in a man like to go travel and only one man dislike to go travel.In this result mean that, most people are preferring to go to travel.Just has a small part of people dislike going travel.Consequently, traveling has huge influence in people’s life.

 

Section 2 : Do you have a habit which is saving money for travel and analysis people will save how much many in traveling?

In the Figure 3, the topic of the people has different income levels which are about influence their saving ability. There are 20 people who have diverse monthly income. Moreover, the percentages of people will save how much money on travel that will be showing in each color on Figure 3. It is appeared that, around £900-1000 month people are saving money on travel which is common in their life. Just have different percentages on save money on travel.Both of a person who has £900-1000 monthly and over 1000 month they would like to save 10% money on travel.That around 6 and 5 people in each areas. And also just a little bit people saving over 50% money on travel in monthly income.In contrast, there are £400-500 monthly income people would not put money on travel.Therefor, saving money on travel is influenced by salary of people. In addition, when I have an interview with different salary levels of people. They answer are, if a person who has no money to eat or lives. How could they save money on travel? The money will base on the people to support their normal life.After then,if have surplus money that can save it to go travel or do other things.in conclusion , salary will affect saving money ability.

Today, many business schools have a regular time to go to outdoor travel organization staff and students. On this point raised questions in the questionnaire. When people are in favor of this idea in reality. For this view and will bring the benefits of work and study ways to. This is a very worth discussing problem. For this view, the 10 men's answer was: "six men agreed and 4 people do not share you.In addition, in women up to nine people agree with this view, only one person said don't agree. This may safely come to the conclusion is that most people still in favor of the proposal. In the interview, most people think that this can be in excellent working stress and learning pressure way to relieve stress. And can promote relations between company employees or students. Is a good way in the heavy pressure. Can be best to go back to work and study. So the conclusion is that tourism can bring benefits to people widely Shared.

     

Section 4: Which part is the most advantageous on traveling?

In Figure 5, the investigation is mainly focused on the benefits of tourism for people performance in the several aspects. Because everyone is not the same thing as in the definition of tourism, which can cause in their harvest in the tourism is not the same. The survey is mainly showed in "relax" are the main options. Most people wish to travel to relieve stress relaxation.Second is to enable people to make more friends and promote relationship with friends during the journey, let his social circle is more widespread. For example, go to travel with friends, in this way can support each other and help to promote friends closer. In the other three aspects are: broaden one's horizons, motivate enthusiasm back to work and the personal experience of plentiful.These three options are also a little. So this can be possible to conclude that in most of those surveyed tend to relax and can make more friends as their major benefits from tourism.

 

Section 5: Which style traveling you will be attracted?

 

 

                  

                                              

In this survey, I get the result is in a different age choose unique way to travel. Tend to choose self - guided tour of ages 17 to 25 years old. Choose the guided tour is the main crowd ages 35 to 45 years old. This can draw, small age will choose self - guided tour, in an interview, the answer is that they feel the self - guided tour can have more time and activities relative to freedom.Can do not depend on their travel plans. Relative to the old, on the other hand, people would choose the guided tour, this is because the guided tour will be a good travel plan for people, it is more convenient for people in older age of travel. So this is a good response to a survey out of the way people travel choice is related to the age interval.To choose the way to travel is also the quality of the tourism bring different benefits. For example, a guided tour for saving time and money can make a terrible, in the whole trip can don't need to think about food and clothing live line. Relative to the self - guided tour, there will be a lot of choices and enough time during the entire trip.

 

Chapter 5 Conclusion

 

5.1 Match findings to hypothesis

 

This research is focusing on the topic of “benefits of traveling”.Hypothesis H1: self-guided tour is a wide choice and has many benefits that they like.

Hypothesis H2: There are focussed on different aspect of benefits on travel.

Hypothesis H3: If a person who never got to travel to compare a person who usually goes to travel.They will get what kind of difference?

According to Chapter 2 of literature review which explains and evidence of H1-H3. And also, in chapter4, primary research and secondary research have been analyzed. According to the analysis of the data and access to the results for the interviewer for the content of the conclusion.In different age level of the choice of different ways, most choose to self-guided tour is focused on the young stage. Choose the guided tour is at the level of the older. For self-guided tour is relative to the benefits of free time and free choice activity place. Acceptable to many unique benefits from tourism. Can also exercise the ability. This is perhaps the most people will choose the self-guided tour.In H2, the benefits of the different aspects of tourism is to the individual and for the environment will bring benefit to society and economy. These in chapter3 and chapter4 have proved.Analysis of H3 a person often goes to travel is to live and work will bring benefit. So travel is an indispensable part of life.

 

5.2 Next steps

 

In this study for the travel in many ways will bring the benefits of all aspects. And the actual interview and questionnaire to analyze how to travel and who is suitable for people. These are the principal direction of the study, if we can further to study for the environment, the economy, the benefits of these to be better. So in future research will give attention to some research about this aspect.

 

5.3 Case study
 

In case study, I chose a Chinese specializes in tourism of a website, this website seems to have a lot of information about travel and record some posts in their travel. These are very worthy of my study, because you can concentrate on the different people in the travel to share their harvest and interesting things. It will be very useful if my research. There is also need to decide on the tour hotel. Air tickets, can be implemented in the site. Like the person who joins the swimming team here can find package tour to fit them all over the world. So this time, this study most of the study object is the travel website. Let me better to understand and experience the feeling of the people on the road and ideas and their harvest.For this website to also doing related research, to find on this website to carry out their background and purpose. They are designed to allow people to more easily carry out the purpose of the behavior of the site. People travel benefits. So that is a favorite with many people.

 

5.4 Reflection

 

In a long time ago for the travel is very interested in this topic, so I chose to travel in the research of this topic as my main subject. In this study also learn a lot about study matters needing attention. One began to arrange the whole research cost, time and research purposes. Next is the literature review, the powerful evidence for the entire study, found in some books or newspapers to think about that material. And then the research methodology is including interview and questionnaire in practice to analyze and explain the rectification report again. These are for improvement research proof, this is the biggest harvest in the whole research. Follow the teacher's pace, step by step for the each item it is good to learn. So this study is not only help us understand the paper the process and steps and in-depth study of a subject. So I can use English to think. Because I have never done a research is the feeling of take seven weeks to complete this short and long. So this is for my course a good foreshadowing for the later research. On how to complete a research have a very good help.

 on the other hand, in the study also have run into many difficulties such as in the beginning don't know how to start my topic and do not know how to use the search function and don't know what to look up books and websites to help my study. However, with the help of the teacher let me learn to these difficult things originally, when he faced the questionnaire to respondents and also have a lot of difficulties mainly to clear need to interview those people, send what questionnaire for this research in view of the crowd. And met some questionnaires don't return, so back 20 questionnaire is actually sent more than 20. But in the end is in the help of the classmates and teachers.

 

Finally, although under these difficult to block or smoothly completed the study, although there are still many insufficient places there are still many areas need to improve. But it was a good experience.For future academic research it is very useful. We learned to master the entire study completion time and search capability and the ability to examine the actual data. So by this study to improve the capacity of many research capacity and other aspects of spoken English writing, but also to their English proficiency has been improved, for example, to go to the full article to see some English, to communicate with others and interviews with speaking and listening write research reports and writing skills required. So even if there are many aspects of the need to improve and supplement. This is a valuable learning opportunity.
